Berlengas Island
To visit, Berlengas is located 5.7 miles west of Cape Carvoeiro, Peniche.
The patrimony of Unesco, this island has as its best beauty, tranquility, blue waters, Fortaleza São João Batista and the peace that is found in it when walking the tracks.
Cape Carvoeiro
It is the most western cape of the Portuguese mainland north of Cabo da Roca. To the west one can see the small archipelago of the Berlengas, integrated into a natural reserve terrestrial and marine.
In this place, the Cabo Carvoeiro Lighthouse, 25 m high, was erected due to the numerous shipwrecks that occurred in this part of the coast.
Supertubos beach
Praia do Medão or Praia dos Supertubos, in Peniche, the western sub-region of Portugal, is famous worldwide for its tubular waves, considered the best "tubes" in European seas. It is located south of Peniche Peninsula and is protected from the north wind by the east mole of the harbor. It is, along with Praia do Norte, in Nazaré, one of the most popular for surfing.
